A hand-delivered art post from Berlin
Art by bicycle, and some envelopes hold something from the past.
Every month, an envelope of art on old paper, carried by hand across Berlin and posted across Europe. First delivery 20 March 2027. Final postmark 31 December 2030.
Three sizes that nest
A Folio holds a Mappe, and a Mappe holds a Brief. Whichever you choose, everything smaller comes inside it.
No two alike
Every envelope is its own object, with its own packaging and contents. Originals are spread across all three sizes, so a one-of-one can land in any letterbox.
Some things are lent
The most valuable works aren't given away. You keep them in trust until the Great Turn in December 2030, when everything comes home and the people who held it decide what happens next.
Plans
Two stamps on every envelope
They aren't postage. They're votes. Each one sends part of your subscription somewhere you choose.
Lila: the past
The Wunderkasse rescues what would otherwise be lost: found objects, ephemera, the paper trail of earlier countercultures, put back into circulation.
Green: the future
The Free Frank Fund builds what comes next: tools, new materials, and free subscriptions for people who can't pay.
You don't have to choose anything. By default your stamps go to the general funds. If you'd like to choose, you can pick an object or a tool at checkout, and add extra stamps for €2, €5 or €10 an issue, depending on your plan. Every extra stamp arrives on your envelope, and all of its value goes to the fund.

Sheets
Each chapter of the post brings a small number of stamp sheets, each with its own design, printed with original cards from the archive. The money goes to one goal, named in the sheet's top margin.
